What are you Nurturing in your life?

It is now officially “MUD season” up here in the high country - which means the snow is melting and quite literally turning the trails to MUD. We are not yet experiencing the luscious greens and warmth of Summer but it’s definitely not winter anymore either - Hallelujah! These transitional times of the year always feel like a natural time to recalibrate & reflect. Plus I have always loved to use the start of a new month to reflect back on the previous month and set intentions for the new month. And I even have a tool for you to use if you would like. I call it the 4x4 Monthly Recalibration Tool.

In reflecting on what has changed since I started using regular introspective practices like the 4x4 Recalibration Tool linked above, I realize that I used to live in such a chaotic way - in REACTION to everything that ‘happened to me.’ But now that I have tools and practices to support me living with intention & awareness, I feel so much calmer internally. I experience more peace now. And it’s not because crappy stuff doesn’t happen in my life but because I am firmly grounded in my core values and I know that I can handle whatever life throws my way. I am clear on where I have been and where I am going and when I lose my way - I just recalibrate. Reorient. Right the ship.

One question that keeps coming up for me this week is: What am I nurturing in my life right now?

The word Nurture can be defined as: The fostering or overseeing of the development of something.

What are you fostering the development of in your life?

What currently needs your attention in order to grow?

Here are 5 things I am intentionally nurturing and tending to right now in my life:

  • paying off debt/s

  • slow mornings that include walking the dogs

  • friendships that feel inspired, supportive and aligned

  • my writing practice - still not sure what that looks like yet, but I am exploring & getting curious

  • spending as much time outside as humanly possible - it was a VERY Long winter up here at 2 miles high (no joke) and I am just relishing every moment to bask in the sunlight!

I am wishing you all a purposeful and beautiful May. And if you would like some support with figuring out what you are nurturing in your life, please schedule a complimentary consultation call with me.
